My Fairy Tail Recharged: Book 1, Ch.5Kurai could not understand why her best friend left by herself, she had been ready to grab her bags and go after her large friend only to come across the note taped to the door, with the words 'Don't follow me!' on it. That had been three hours ago and now she was sitting at the kitchen table re-reading the note for about the fiftieth time. Her bags still lay where she had dropped them when she had grabbed the note, and they would probably stay there for the rest of the day.
'At the train station'
The large red engine slowed to a smooth stop, grayish smoke puffing up from its chimney stack. The doors of each passenger car slid open allowing their many occupants to step off onto the platform.
Golem stepped off the train and looked about her, this was her first time to Magnolia and she was already nervous, having no idea where to go and to make matters worse she didn't see neither her sister nor Kurai waiting there for her on the platform.
"Lighten up eh Golem! Kurai said she'll be here
My Fairy Tail Recharged: Book 1, Ch.4Fire rained down from the blood-red sky, ash filled the air, making it hard to see and breath. Hell had broken loose upon the landscape, wiping out all life.
Kaida could feel the heat from the flames lick at her bare arms, burning her though her focus was not on the raging fire around her instead it was on the giant black form emerging from the fiery pit that lay before her across the street that once was crowded with the citizens of Magnolia. The people she had sworn to protect now lay upon the cracked cement of the sidewalks, pools of blood surrounding their lifeless bodies.
Kaida watched the enormous dark form draw itself up from the pit, and all light began to fade to the point were she could no longer see her own hand in front of her face. The flames that were around her even lost their light becoming black and roaring higher with extreme heat. Terror struck the mages heart as a pair of hate filled fiery-red orbs loomed in front of her, peering deep inside her soul and making her
My Fairy Tail Recharged: Book 1, Ch.3Kurai glared at Kaida from across the room as Mirajane stamped the black fairy tail emblem onto the back of her right shoulder. Having been in a rather foul mood since she woke up Kurai wasn't too happy with her friend at the moment.
Kaida, however, was ignoring the glares she was getting from her friend, instead focusing more on the bucket size cup of ale in front of her than the petty grumbles of her grumpy partner.
Kaida sighed into her bucket, if only Golem was arriving sooner maybe she wouldn't have to be worrying so much, but of course her sister wasn't to arrive until next week along with Kurai's three other sisters. Downing her ale she got to her feet and made her way over to the request board. Her eyes scanned over the few she saw pinned to the wooden board, but saw none that struck her interest.
Her attention was drawn from the board as the guild doors flew open and in stepped a man with black spiky hair and red eyes. The guy had more piercings on his body than anybody
My Fairy Tail Recharged: Book 1, Ch.2The sun had barely peeked its way over the horizon and the town of Magnolia was already bustling with life. Its many inhabitants scurrying too and fro, going about their day as they would any other normal day.
Natsu stifled a yawn as he made his way through the crowded streets, Happy by his side using his Aera magic to fly. They were on their way to the guild to see if they could find a new job request so they could pay to feed their constantly rumbling stomachs.
As the two friends drew nearer to the guild the street became more packed with people, all seeming to be looking at something. The words of a man standing a few feet in front of them caught Natsu's attention
“Looks like someone's gonna try fighting Laxus!”
Natsu's eyes widened and he began shoving his way through the throng of people towards the center. Finally, managing to force his way through the crowd he saw that someone indeed was about to take on the lightning mage.
Kurai studied the blond male before her, ey
My Fairy Tail Recharged: Book 1, Ch.1The darkness surrounded her, swallowing any fragment of light that dared to enter that room. She could feel the darkness around her, pressing in on her almost to the point of suffocation. This pitch black nothingness she knew well, having lived most of her life in it. Two fiery red eyes shown through the nothingness at her, deep hatred filled orbs that burned with ravenous anger.
Fear enveloped her heart and the words were choked. She felt every inch of her thin frame shake in fear as she stood there frozen in terror unable to look away.
Someone was calling her, but they sounded so far away.
There it was again this time closer.
Suddenly the darkness was gone along with the eyes, replaced with the ceiling of her bedroom. Kurai could feel her heart pounding beneath the fabric of her pajamas which clung to her body from sweat.
A pair of large green eyes suddenly invaded her vision startling her.
"Are...you..ok?" the woman asked her, lon
